Ingredients

Dressed Hilsha fish cut in big sized pieces - 1/4 kg
Coconut milk - 1/4 cup
Chopped onion - 1
Onion paste - 1/2 tsp
Ginger paste - 1/2 tablespoon
Green chilli paste - 1/2 tablespoon             
Garam masala - 1/2 tablespoon
Salt and sugar according to taste
Ghee

Method

1.Melt  ghee in a pan and  sauté the chopped onion till soft before adding the  onion paste, ginger-chilli paste a

2.Saute the spices  well before adding the  coconut milk, salt and sugar & mix properly.

3.Add fish pieces and cook it for 10-15 min in a low flame with cover.

4.When the gravy becomes thick, sprinkle the garam masala powder.
