Tandoori Chicken

Ingredients:-

  • 8 large chicken pieces
  • 1 1/4 cup yogurt
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 crushed garlic                                         
  • 1 pc grated ginger
  • 1-2 clove
  • 2 tbsp garam masala
  • 2 tbsp chilli powder
  • salt to taste'
  • 1/2 chopped onion
  • 3-4 dried red chilli
  • 2 tbsp coriander seeds

Method:-

  1. take the chicken pieces and rub lime juice and salt over them and keep aside for half an hour
  2. grind the dried chillies, garlic, coriander seeds, ginger and clove together. mix the paste with garam masala and chilly powder
  3. heat the pan and saute the masala. add onion and fry. pour yogurt and stir well. remove the pan from fire.
  4. arrange chicken pieces in a dish and pour the yogurt mixture. refrigerate the mixture for atleast 4-5 hours
  5. arrange the chicken on a broiler tray and pre heat for 20-30 mins. or brush oil the chicken pieces and cook in gas stove till the both sides are done well
  6. keep pouring oil and masala in between the chicken masala.
